Everyone has a story. I'd like to photograph yours, so let me tell you a little bit about mine. I'm a mother to precocious three year old, a partner to my husband of over a decade, and a life long learner. I love that there is always something new to learn. Each photo session that I work on gives me a chance to see something new, meet someone new & discover a different point of view.
I first studied photography in college. Working in the darkroom, printing in black and white and using a camera that is probably older than I am. I'll be honest. When digital was becoming big, I was not quick to jump on board. My husband actually had to give me a digital camera as a gift, because I wouldn't buy one! But I've fallen in love... Film will always be something I value. Digital just gives so much more flexibility.
That said, I believe, the eye of the photographer is much more important than what tools they use to get the picture. So I like to keep things as simple as possible. Are there times when you need lights & flashes? Sure. Would I prefer to use just my camera and let you have the freedom to be natural and have fun? YES!
I specialize in the moment. I love to let kids, and adults, be natural. To find a comfy spot in the home or a favorite place at the park and use my camera to capture a moment in your life.
